The Concept

Step Two
Onsite Consultation

We set up a time convenient to you, whether it is during or after business hours, and go through your project in its entirety detail by detail. This gives us a complete understanding of your project.

Step Three
The Design

We can use your design plans or create a custom home design with a building designer. The goal is to bring your vision to life. We will collaborate directly with all contractors to ensure the project is managed from concept to completion.

Step Four
Complete Quote

Your completed quote is a fixed price contract—no surprises or hidden fees from us! Your comprehensive itemised quote includes all fees applicable to your custom design:

Detailed survey plan
Council fees
QBCC Insurance fees
Certification fees
Town planning approvals
Fixtures and fittings
Swimming pool application + build
Detailed specifications list

Step Five
Contract

Once you approve the quote, we finalise your contract. Included in your contract is the timeline (with completion date), progress payments, financing, construction insurance and certificate of currency. Your contract is the springboard for your project—once it’s finalised, we are ready to go!

Step Six
The Build

The longest step in our process is the build. This includes everything from surveying the plot, excavating, and laying the foundation to painting, landscaping, and the final walkthrough. The build process is where we work our magic and includes all the details necessary to create your masterpiece.

Step Seven
Project Completion

We’ll hand over the keys to your new, or newly renovated, custom Gold Coast home! CMR Construction looks after customers well after the build with our 12 months maintenance warranty and our 7 years QBCC structure warranty.
